Editorial

An editorial accompanying the publication of the study by Miyasaka et al[131] highlighted the fact that the prognosis for these patients is poor, that new onset CHF is frequent, and that there has been no marked change over the years in either new-onset CHF or in survival of patients with AFib[132] and this is a risk factor that may physicians may not be sufficiently aware of.
