FIG. 32: Non-urachal adenocarcinomas are often flat lesions presenting as a diffuse thickening of the bladder wall in every position of the bladder.[7] This cancer is considered highly aggressive. In non-invasive cases, TURB or partial cystectomy is debated, but is probably not the most appropriate choice for every case, since it is clear that invasive cases do require cystectomy.[18] To date, recommended chemotherapy regimens have not been defined, but ifosfamide, paclitaxel, and cisplatin have been suggested.
