Why Decision Timing is Important

FIG. 19:  Another example of why decision timing is important is illustrated in this Figure, using the data on the CIS patients from the SWOG clinical trial reported in 2000.[14]  Among the patients who had CIS and underwent 6 weeks of BCG induction before randomization to BCG maintenance or no maintenance therapy, one can see that at the first evaluation, the complete response (CR) rates were between 55% and 58%.
