FIG. 51: The red frame in this Figure highlights the finding that patients randomized to receive home NIV showed a significant improvement in control of nocturnal hypoventilation, as measured either by mean or maximum transcutaneous CO2 (tcCO2) on therapy compared with off therapy, with a highly statistically significant difference between the intervention and control arms.[1]
