The REACH Registry: CVD Event Rates in Patients with AFib vs CHADS2 Score
Another interesting benefit of the CHADS2 risk score is that it not only predicts risk of AFib-related stroke, it also appears to predict other vascular event rates in general in patients with AFib, as shown in the data from the REduction of Atherothrombosis for Continued Health (REACH) registry (Figure 11).[12]
