FIG. 42:  Is BCG the initial treatment choice?  The main question is how to provide maintenance.  A multitude of studies have been done in this area and the most consistent data from the highest quality studies have suggested that in high-risk patients at 3 years, full dose should be considered, depending on toxicity and cost.[60]  This applies almost all T1 high-grade bladder cancers.
