At the Langone Medical Center at New York University we reviewed data from more than a year ago showing that among patients who met diagnoses of either likely, probable, or possible FH, <1% of these patients were accurately identified as potentially meeting the criteria for FH. Coming from an academic medical practice in the United States these results suggest that there is still significant performance gap when it comes to recognizing patients with this condition.
