Can an exacerbation be treated by the help of telemonitoring?
Fig. 36: This Figure shows the main results of the proof-of-concept study. It was clearly shown that prior to an exacerbation, respiratory rate and percentage of respiratory cycles triggered by the patient increase significantly.[18] Therefore, future studies might assess whether we can predict an exacerbation and therefore initiate early treat and prevent exacerbation with the help of telemonitoring.
