This Figure presents a Forrest plot of the reduction in ischemic stroke by ITT analysis.[118] As seen in the preceding Figures, only the higher dose of dabigatran produces a statistically significant (p=0.03) reduction, but again, all the other results lie along the line of “no difference” from warfarin, and it is the side effects more than the efficacy of warfarin that presents so many problems with this drug, for physicians and patients.
