The conclusions from all these studies tell us that HPV testing combined with cytology (co-testing) increases
the CIN 2+ sensitivity for lesion detection, and that clinical sensitivity approaches 100%.  

Even in women with a Pap normal result, about 9% have a positive High Risk HPV test result.  HPV testing
has an excellent negative predictive value.  

At the end of the day it saves lives.
