So what is wrong with the Pap test? Nothing, except it is not good enough. I am not here to tell you that a Pap test is bad. I am here to tell you that a Pap test is not enough. The Pap test takes interpretation. You have to actually sample the right area. There are a lot of systematic errors built into the Pap test, and so the new world since 2003, is molecular testing because it is objective, it is reproducible, and as you will hear, it is more sensitive.
